Models

Worldhopper's background jobs run through your connection profiles (plug menu → Connection Profile), separate from the model you chat with. Give them their own model: a local one (KoboldCpp, Ollama…) or a cheap, fast API model (the Flash, Haiku or mini tier). The jobs are small and the Ledger runs after every reply, so that keeps things quick and costs next to nothing; your big roleplay model would work, but at big-model prices on every reply, and your next reply waits for the Ledger. A job with no model picked simply doesn't run.

Fast and cheap: use a local or budget model here, not your roleplay model.

Codex

The Codex is a lorebook of metaphysics rules that comes with the extension. Its entries stay off everywhere; Worldhopper turns on only the ones for the modes you picked, and only in that character's chats.

Ledger

Teal means you're the one doing it (inside a body, or controlling a mind); violet means someone else is. In the body roster, tap a body's card to start a line like [Kayla] and write what that body does; a line with no name is you as a whole. The writer only ever does what you wrote with your bodies: one you gave nothing stays as you left it.

Editor

After each reply, a quick rule pass flags suspect lines and the Editor model rewrites only those; nothing else in the reply changes. in a message's menu switches between the original and the fixed version.

EditorFixes the flagged lines after each reply. Chat Completion replies onlyStyle fixes skip Text Completion replies. Pronouns and body rules still run on every reply.
